The Request module autosaves after every update; however, a complete audit trail is not preserved. The updated view will only show "Last Edited By."
To effectively track changes, users can Take Snapshot of a moment in time and use the Audit Trail feature to compare changes between two Snapshots. Follow these steps:
Steps to Track Changes

Take a Snapshot:
- To track changes manually, select "Take Snapshot" from the More Options menu. This action captures the current state of the request at that moment.

View the Audit Trail:
- To access the audit trail, go to the More Actions menu and select "Audit Trail."
- This will provide a list of all snapshots taken, along with notes on the changes made.

Compare Snapshots:
- Within the audit trail, you can compare different snapshots. Changes between snapshots will be highlighted, allowing you to easily identify what has been modified.
- The audit trail displays questions that have been altered and highlights any edits that have been made. Users can select to compare both the current state of the request or other historical snapshots to view any updates that have been made throughout the lifecycle of the request. This can be done by selecting the relevant snapshots from the dropdown lists at the top of the pop-out screen.
- Items that have been added are highlighted in Green
- Items that have been removed are highlighted in Pink. (To view items that have been removed, select the Eyeball icon.)
- Within the audit trail, you can compare different snapshots. Changes between snapshots will be highlighted, allowing you to easily identify what has been modified.
