How Do I Copy An Existing Request?

Users can duplicate an existing request within Dasseti Engage using the Copy Existing function. This is helpful for rolling forward RFIs or updating prior questionnaires with new content.

To Copy an Existing Request:

1. Navigate to the Requests tab.

2. Select the Add button (top right) or the “+” icon (bottom right).
   

3. In the pop-up, choose Copy Existing.
   

4. In the next screen:

   • Locate the request you wish to copy.

   • To include previous answers, toggle Include Answers to ON.

     Please note: When a Request is duplicated, all linked QA Bank sources on its answers carry over to the new copy.  Source linkage is retained at the answer level.

   • Click the copy icon to the right of the questionnaire you want to duplicate.

This creates a new, editable version of the request. Users can rename the request, update content, and publish it as needed.
